Q & A Time

I'm following suit from some of my favorite blogs, and it seems to be that the "in" thing to do right now is have a question and answer segment on the blog. At first, I thought this seemed pretty lame, but then I ready some of the questions other people asked and thought, "HHHHmmm, that WOULD make a good topic for convo." Then I read some blogs where people had answered the questions, and those were really cool, too.

So, this may flop, or.... the 70something followers I have might come out of the woodwork and ask a few things.

Ask away!!!!

I'll wait a few days, then do a post with all the answers. :) Um, or if no one cares, then I won't. Haha.

  1. I'm inspired that after 11 years of marathon running, you are still setting PRs. And that you've chopped over an hour off of a very solid time to begin with. What has been your number one key to getting faster?

  2. Since you're moving (or have moved already...trouble keeping track!:)) to a more "cosmopolitan" town, what's the first thing you plan do in your new surroundings?

That and, what's the largest amount of carbs you've ever had in one sitting!? haha

I've just recently found your blog, so please excuse me if you've answered these before.
What's your favorite distance to race?
As a coach, how do you get someone to run that really doesn't want to (ie, they've enlisted your help, but always have an excuse).
Best tip for staying strong through a divorce?
    Thanks, Amy

I would ask how do I get to become even as remotely awesome as you, but that's not going to happen. Instead I hope we get to meet in person someday soon! Can you add a section to your blog of planned upcoming races? I would love to keep tabs and look for a chance to meet you. I can't remember if you have Chicago Marathon or RNR St. Louis on your radar, or Boston next year? Pre and post race fuel preferences would be cool to see too. :)
